“Battlefield” is the lead single from Grammy-nominated American R&B artist Jordin Sparks’ sophomore studio album, which is due to be released July 14, 2009.
The single was able to be purchased on iTunes as of May 12th, 2009.
The mid-tempo R&B track was written and produced by Grammy nominated producer/songwriter and One Republic frontman Ryan Tedder, whose long list of accolades includes hits for fellow American Idol Kelly Clarkson, Beyoncé, Leona Lewis, Timbaland, Jennifer Hudson and Rihanna. Wayne Wilkins, Louis Biancaniello and Sam Watters also co-wrote the song.
